Each dining area in this charming restaurant, beautifully reconstructed from the shell of an authentic Federation home, has a cosy intimacy and warmth imparted by the skilful hand of Elizabeth Fabregues in her role of interior decorator.
Enchantingly old-world, but with all the comforts that modern design can bring, an evening meal at The Loose Box becomes an event to linger over and fondly remember. All herbs and most vegetables used in the creation of Chef Alain's dishes are grown right on the property in the large gardens, lovingly tended by a full-time gardener
Welcome to the secluded luxury of our Country Cottages located in the grounds of award-winning French Restaurant.
Each cottage comprises a suite with a king-size bedroom and a sitting room decorated in exclusive Colefax and Fowler fabrics tastefully blended with framed prints and mirrors to create a stylish country atmosphere.
Remote controlled television and air-conditioning have been discreetly incorporated, and in winter guests enjoy the warmth of a wood fired Jotul stove in the sitting room. The bathrooms in each cottage feature a large bath placed next to a picture window. While enjoying a glass of champagne and a tranquil vista, a superb range of toiletries helps soak away lifes' stresses.
After a sumptuous dinner in our restaurant, awake refreshed to enjoy a continental breakfast in your cottage. Indulge in egg and bacon tartlets and fresh baked croissants and pastries accompanied by fresh fruits poached with bourbon vanilla.

A Credit card is required and $500.00 is charged when the booking is made to guarantee the reservation. As we are holding your reservation in good faith, there is a 10 day cancellation policy, your card would be charged with the full amount of your stay should you cancel, amend or change your reservation within 10 days of arrival. Upon quoting credit card details you are verbally agreeing to our booking conditions.
- Sports Convertibles include 200 kilometres. Excess kms @ 50 cents per km.
- A $3,300.00 Pre-Authorisation will be required on your Credit Card and this bond is held by the Bank for a minimum of 7 working days OR 10 working days for Overseas Credit Cards
- 4% Surcharge applies for payment by AMERICAN EXPRESS & DINERS CLUB Credit Cards
