Loss or Damage Liability Options
Executive Hire Cars offers the option to its customers that allow them to reduce the standard liability on the vehicle they have rented.
Standard Liability
The Standard Liability is the amount the hirer is liable to pay Executive Hire Cars in the event of damage to the Executive Hire vehicle or to third party property caused by the Executive Hire Cars vehicle while on hire to the customer.
Currently this amount is $6,600.00 including Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Loss or Damage Liability Reduction (LDR)
This optional service is available to all customers on all types of vehicle. The package reduces the hirer’s liability as described above.
Currently the reduced liability is:
- $3,300.00 including GST for all Sports Convertibles and Executive Vehicles.
Theft Liability
Hirer’s liability for theft is $6,600.00. Should the Loss or Damage Liability Reduction (LDR) package be purchased, the Theft Liability fee is reduced to $3,3000.00
Bond
Credit Card PRE-AUTHORISATION is required based on your chosen DAMAGE LIABILITY.

Drivers Minimum Age
Executive Hire Cars minimum driver age is 25.
